About us

Born between the sea and the mist of the Azores, Atlantic Fog is a handcrafted candle brand inspired by the calm and power of the Atlantic.

Each candle is handmade, with natural wax and premium fragrances that evoke memories, nature, and silence.

More than just an aroma — it's an atmosphere.

🌴 Summer Islands - New Collection

Perhaps the secret lies here: not trying to hold onto summer… but to recreate it.

In a detail.

In a simple ritual.

In a moment all your own.

Lighting a candle might seem insignificant — but it's precisely in these small gestures that the atmosphere changes, the pace slows, and the home is transformed.

And, for a few moments, summer returns.

Summer Island is that.

A place without a map.

A time without haste.

A feeling that lingers.

Silence Has A Scent

It's the moment the small cube touches the warm ceramic that time decides to slow down.

Sensing the aroma of the wax melt is an intentional pause. It's the gentle heat releasing the concentrated essence, which spreads through the space, dissolving not only the wax but also the rush.

Feel the perfume envelop the air, clear your thoughts, and settle calmness on your skin. It's the luxury of stopping, taking a deep breath, and allowing that fragrance to become a refuge: a moment just for you, liquid and serene, where the outside world fades away and inner comfort ignites.

This is your Scented Moment. The invitation to relax, a perfect dose of peace.

  • 🔥 Initial Burn

On first use, let the candle burn until the entire surface of the wax is liquid — this prevents "tunnelling" and ensures an even burn.

This is when the candle "learns to breathe."

  • ✂️ Trim the Wick

Before each use, trim the wick to about 5 mm.

A wick that is too long will cause the candle to smoke and burn faster.

The flame should dance softly — never flicker excessively.

  • 🌬️ Keeps the Environment Calm

Avoid draughts, fans or open windows — wind unbalances the flame and affects the aroma.

The candle releases best in a serene space, where the air is stable and the light can expand.

  • 🕯️ Extinguish with Care

Extinguish the candle with a wick dipper or dip the wick into the molten wax, then raise it.

Avoid blowing: this creates smoke and can release small ashes.

  • ♻️ Reuse the Bottle

When the candle is finished, lightly heat the bottom to remove any remaining wax.

Wash with hot soapy water — and give the jar new life: brush holder, mini vase, salt jar…

  • 🌿 Storage

Store candles in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight.

Soy wax is temperature sensitive – treat it as a natural ingredient.
